A couple of us have recently started watching the documentary TV series Whale Wars. The series follows the actions of anti-whaling group Sea Shepherd as they risk their lives, and deploy a range of radical direct action tactics in order to harrass and disable whaling boats off the coast of Antarctica. Despite their use of non-violent tactics, Sea Shepherd have been branded terrorists by the American and (unsurprisingly) Japanese governments.
